This Tuesday, March 1st, you will have the opportunity to read a book that WILL effectively alter the course of your life. Michael Hyatt and Daniel Harkavy are releasing Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want. It’s already been #1 in the Self-Help category and #6 overall on Amazon and it hasn’t even released yet! Mark my words, this book WILL BE a New York Times bestseller. It is endorsed by Tony Robbins, Dave Ramsey, Jeff Goins, John C. Maxwell, Lysa Terkuerst, Dan Cathy plus many, many others!
Here are a couple of quotes from the book:
“People lose their way when they lose their why.”
“When something negative happens, ask yourself: What does this experience make possible?”
“The wise know their days are numbered and act accordingly.”
From the Living Forward website: “Within 24 hours of reading this book, you can be moving down a clear path toward the life you want. It’s possible, and Living Forward shows you how.”
We spend enormous amounts of time planning vacations, weddings, parties, meals, productions, etc., why would we not plan our lives?
I came to this realization in late 2013/early 2014. After taking stock of my life, and coming through an immense trial, it suddenly hit me! I was in THE most unique position I had EVER been in in my entire life. For literally the first time EVER, I was totally responsible for only me. I was completely FREE to make my own choices and decisions. I wasn’t a dependent or a spouse. I grappled for some time with this newly recognized freedom, and was overwhelmed by the amount of choices and opportunities in front me. I didn’t know which direction to take. I needed assistance with planning my life. Ultimately I turned to Building Champions for guidance.
I recently recorded this short testimonial for Building Champions. I share my heart surrounding why I needed a life coach and why I decided to plan my life.
15 months after completing my life plan, I can tell you it has CHANGED my life and CHANGED my perspective. I’m now living intentionally and working against an envisioned future with specific purposes and commitments. AND, I’m well aware of obstacles that threaten my success.
Now, I’ll let you guys in on a little secret ahead of the Living Forward launch on Tuesday. If you get the book (and I hope you will!!!!), there is an appendix containing some exemplar life plans. You’ll come across one by “Rachel.” I am actually Rachel. (My real name is not mentioned anywhere, so you’ll have to take my word for it.) Michael and Daniel selected my plan to be included in their book. I often feel so plain and small, and to know my story will impact millions is completely overwhelming. Here is a snippet from one of the life accounts in my life plan. If you want to read the rest, you’ll have to get the book. 🙂

Jerry Dugan says
Those who aim at nothing hit it with amazing accuracy. While I have a life plan and a five-year plan thanks to Pastor Bil Cornelius’ book, I Dare You to Change, I never wrote a eulogy for myself. Makes sense if we want to begin with the end in mind.
